Today was Regeneration Day. Or Degeneration Day from what I've heard from some people.
Just a bunch of guest speakers talking about gap years, regrets in life, safe partying etc.
My favourite speaker was the Safe Partying speaker. She wasn't dry or boring. She was a really good speaker and very funny. I kind of wished she spoke for the entire day. The stuff she said wasn't new, it was probably stuff we all knew. But the way she presented it made us laugh and we'll probably remember it. She used to be a door bitch at some of the night clubs in the city.
I'm glad you guys know what spirits are (referring to alcohol). I once went to a school and asked them the same question and someone said "Methylated".
Even smart people are a little stupid when they're drunk. Imagine stupid people when they're drunk.
Fights in nightclubs start for the most stupid reasons like over drinks: you touched my drink, you drank my drink, you were standing too close to my drink, you checked out my drink, you were looking at my drink, you were breathing on my drink.
The school organised a sausage & vegie patty sizzle for lunch. Complete with juiceboxes!
Now I have to catch up on all my work. Especially Legal Studies since I stopped listening in class a few weeks back and didn't do the homework cause I was preparing for the SAC. 60 pages of textbook to go through. And who knows how many handouts :(
I also have to read Hard Times. Because I made the mistake of NOT reading it during the summer holidays.
Oneway might be releasing a new album or single soon? Cause I follow them on Twitter and they're currently writing songs and stuff! I'm getting excited for it :) If you haven't checked out Oneway, you're missing out! They're a Korean group, but all three of the members can speak English fluently!
TOP's solo teaser came out today! I have to say, TOP has a very quirky sort of aura to him.
But I think auto-tune is becoming a huge sort of music trend now? But I'm glad that artists perform live on Korean Music programs. The live versions always sound better!
I've noticed that in Asia, and especially Korea, really value music shows and variety shows highly. Not many dramas or movies get very high buzz and it only happens once in a while. I really like watching Korean variety shows and Chinese interview shows (like Happy Camp on Hunan), they're so much more interesting and funny than anything on TV.
Yesterday I didn't do much, except for sit in bed and watch Boys Before Flowers again. And play on OMGPOP, haha. I signed up for that a few months ago or something, but I never really went back cause I forgot about it. Playing games against people makes me nervous.. cause I'm scared they'll laugh at me for my noob game playing skills!
