I owe you guys a super post since I didn't write anything yesterday, and I wrote a crap entry the day before.
So I got back some English SAC scores. I mean, they were okay. It doesn't help that the person sitting next to me got 29/30 and 20/20 for her SACs. She's freaking amazing! I got 21/30 for my context, which was a bit meh, seeing as I didn't really know how to go about writing it. And I got 17/20 for my Oral SAC. Hm.
Yesterday they were giving out yellow flowers for Mother's Day at Box Hill. I came home with it, and my sister immediately goes, "Who gave you that flower? Was it a boy?!" I nodded. Well, it was a guy who was handing them out. She runs to my mum, ready to report my "boyfriend" and then dad comes along and says "Oh, you got that from Box Hill huh?" Haha! Then my sister said "As if a guy would give you flowers anyway." which kind of broke my heart.
It's so bright and yellow. It makes me happy looking at it. But lilies and roses are still my favourite flowers
I also went to Grill'd with some friends as Jo was raving on about how good the chips there were. And rightly so. They're amazing. The four of us went, two serves of chips, $10. Not too bad for a snack (:
I believe these are Tomato Relish and Sweet Chilli Mayo
Today was the morning of the Senior Breakfast. I of course, forgot and turned up late. But still managed to grab a hashbrown and a pancake. There was so much pancake mixture left over from the breakfast and the friday p3&4 free girls decided to do a clean up of the commonroom and make pancakes. Jaymee and I ended up cooking pancakes through period 3 and lunchtime for the rest of the year 12s. i have to say, it's really satisfying watching people eat the food you cook (even if it's only pancakes). we also gave some to the teachers, who loved them (:
Maggie and I shared 3 packets worth of Mi Goreng today. Yum! Pumpkin Soup in a cup (: A bucket full of pancake mixture from the breakfast! Pink pancakes, anyone? Jaymee is so adorable! We decided to have a bit of fun with the pancakes as lunchtime was ending.
After tutor today, Jo and I went to Hudson's because she had vouchers. I'm a poor student okay? I don't have a part time job! Got some hot chocolates and they're really good! I'd definitely go back for hot chocolate. It's less expensive than Gloria Jeans and it's just as good.
LOL vouchers!
I've recently found a new Korean band that I've been starting to like. They're called Oneway. I'm particularly fond of a song called "없는 번호" which I think means "Wrong Number" because Big Bang has a song by the same name and it translates to that but I'm not too sure. f(x)'s NU ABO is so catchy, but it doesn't get stuck in my head, so I'm really loving that too. The teaser for Super Junior's new album Bonamana and the song is Miinha.
